This solution is left to stand for anywhere between 1-3 hours.

After that, they centrifuge the mixture. If you’re not aware of this technique, it’s a method used to separate substances based on their different densities. During centrifugation, the alcohol separates from Kratom concentrate. The Kratom concentrate is now called the supernatant and the final step revolves around extracting this supernatant.

This final step involves extracting the alkaloids using different alcohols. Firstly, the supernatant passes through ethyl acetate up to three times. The more extractions, the higher the alkaloid content. Then, it passes through chloroform up to two times before being removed, frozen, and dried. Voila! Your alcohol and kratom extraction process is complete.
